New Shackleton Dreadnought Guitar Series

New Shackleton Dreadnought Guitar Series

Coming soon!

Here at Shackleton Instruments we've been quietly beavering away over the summer developing  prototypes for a new range of acoustic guitars coming in the new year. A lot of work has gone in to producing new jigs and tooling as well as sourcing the right materials. Available to pre-order in January these tremendous new instruments will be entirely handmade by our skilled team of luthiers in our Norwich workshop.

The guitars will feature solid woods through-out, from tops to backs and sides. The images featured are from our final prototype, so final details will vary from displayed images. We're hoping to have images of the first models on display soon.

Confirmed features:

  • Choice of Alpine Spruce or Western Red Cedar tops
  • Pre-war Martin Influenced Bracing pattern
  • Solid woods through-out
  • Mahogany neck
  • 14 frets to the body
  • 630mm (24 3/4") Scale length
  • Fully Customisable
  • Grover Sta-tite tuners
  • Hard Case included
  • Hand made in the UK
